Step back in time on a private tour of Luxor’s West Bank’s most impressive ancient Egyptian sites. Sitting to the west of the Nile River, you’ll visit the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Kings, the beautiful Hatshepsut Temple, and the mighty Colossi of Memnon. Lunch is included.
Start your West Bank adventure in the morning when you meet your Egyptologist guide and driver at your Luxor hotel. Settle in for the air-conditioned driver to the West Bank and step back in history.
Your tour begins at the Valley of the Kings, with 64 royal tombs ranging from small, pit tombs to huge labyrinths with over 120 corridors and chambers. When Egyptian kings no longer undertook great building projects like the pyramids, The Valley of the Kings became the new burial location.
Continue your tour at the Valley of the Queens, where you’ll find the stunning Tomb of Nefertari, which is arguably the most beautiful in Egypt. With fewer crowds, you’ll soon see why this site is such a treasure.

Before heading back to Luxor, enjoy a quick visit to the massive Colossi of Memnon. The towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep II are the best-preserved remains of what was the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III.
