Bypass the yeoman wardens and you have a special opportunity to see the majestic crown jewels. These dazzling diamond-encrusted masterpieces are a must - have part of the tower of London tour and will not leave you disappointed.
Owned by some of the most famous monarchs in British royal history, you will get to know which Crown was worn by the queen or King. You will even get to see the magnificent Imperial State Crown of Queen Elizabeth II worn in the state openings of the parliament.

Royal Monsters exhibition
The tower of London has been home to a wide variety of wild animals, featuring an interactive Royal Beasts exhibit to give visitors an insight into this fascinating part of history. From Lions to baboons .

Line of Kings
See historical shields including those of Henry VIII, Charles I and James II. Dating back to the 17th century, the line of Kings is one of the oldest museum exhibits. You will not see any less popular queens or Kings at this exhibition, because they did not play a role in the royal message that the monarchy wanted to give to the first visitors of the tower.

• The last Yeoman Warder tour starts at 2.30pm (winter) and 3.30pm (summer).
