Booking Terms and Conditions

Because we operate professionally, transparently, and clearly to provide you with excellent service and reasonable prices... And because we are keen on a distinguished and continuous relationship with our clients,
We advise you to carefully read the booking terms, as they define our rights and obligations, ensuring your protection and avoiding any misunderstandings.

Please note that by entering, browsing, and using our website or any of our applications or any of our services available through our website or any booking window, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined below:

First: General Rules

  • You must bring the following documents with you at check-in time for hotels:
    • Personal ID for each adult.
    • Marriage certificate or the wife's ID mentioning the husband's name.
    • Booking a voucher from the company.
    • Children's birth certificates to be presented upon request.
    • Passports for non-Egyptians and any residency documents if available.
  • Hotel check-in starts at 14:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
  • Hotel check-out is at 12:00 noon, and the client bears any costs imposed by the hotel due to late check-out.
  • Prices do not include any other services not mentioned in the booking voucher.
  • Prices do not include any personal expenses such as baggage handling services. room services; use of minibar items in the room; laundry; phone calls; early check-in or late check-out at hotels; gratuities, etc..
  • Triple rooms consist of a double room with an additional bed.

Second: Payment Methods

  • No bookings are confirmed until full payment for the reservation is made.
  • Available payment methods: cash payment; online payment on our website; payment by credit card; bank deposits.

Third: Booking Voucher

  • All information mentioned in the booking voucher (voucher) regarding the number of individuals, children's birthdates, and arrival and departure dates is the responsibility of the client. Any additional costs resulting from changing any of this information upon arrival at the hotel are borne by the client without any liability to the company.

Fourth: Hotel Booking Modification/Cancellation Policy

  • In case of a cancellation or modification request, a written confirmation of cancellation or modification must be provided by the client during working hours from ten in the morning to five in the evening every day except Friday & Saturday (holidays).
  • Cancellation or modification fees apply according to the date of the cancellation request, and these fees increase the closer the cancellation or modification date is to the travel date, up to 100%.
  • If cancellation is requested more than 21 (twenty-one) days before the travel date, the reservation amount is fully refunded without any deductions.
  • If cancellation is requested within 21 (twenty-one) days and more than 6 (six) working days before the travel date, the value of one hotel night is deducted from the total number of nights for each reserved room, and the remaining amount is refunded.
  • If cancellation is requested within less than six (six) working days before the travel date, the full amount is deducted, and no refunds are allowed.
  • The client has the right to modify the tourist services booked before 15 days from the travel date, with the client bearing all penalties according to the type of service to be modified. The modification is subject to availability during this period.
  • In the event of cancellation due to circumstances such as wars, demonstrations, riots, floods, and similar circumstances, the situation will be reviewed according to these special cases.
  • In the case of cancellation or modification, the client must provide written notification via email and contact by phone to confirm the cancellation date.
  • In the event of cancellation due to personal circumstances of the client (death, illness, divorce, God forbid), the applicable cancellation policy is applied according to the cancellation request date.

Fifth: Transfers Cancellation Policy (i.e., Tours Including Transfers by Tourist Buses)

  • If the seat reservation on the bus is cancelled before the travel date by more than 15 days from the travel date, the full amount of the bus seat reservation is refunded.
  • If the seat reservation on the bus is cancelled before the travel date by more than 7 days or less than 15 days, 50% of the bus seat value is deducted.
  • If the seat reservation on the bus is cancelled before the travel date by less than 7 days, the full reservation amount is deducted, and no refunds are allowed.
  • The client must adhere to the meeting point and the bus departure time, as the company is not responsible for any delay, and the bus will depart at the specified time.
  • The client must sit in the designated seat specified on the trip voucher.

Sixth: Activities and Tours Cancellation Policy

  • In case of cancellation one day before the trip date, at least before four o'clock in the afternoon (knowing that it is a working day and not a holiday), the full amount is refunded.
  • In case of cancellation on the scheduled trip date, the full amount is deducted, and no refunds are allowed.
  • In In the event of a delay in the trip date, the client is not entitled to demand another date or postpone it to another day.

Seventh: Important Notes on Airline Tickets

  • The company is not responsible for determining the allowed weight by airlines.
  • In the event of changing or cancelling airline tickets, fines (change fee, difference in economy class, or any other fines for adjusting the trip itinerary) will be paid.

Eighth: In Case of Travelling Without Notifying the Company

  • In the event of travelling without notifying the company, the client will be charged 100% of the total trip value, and no refunds are allowed.

Ninth: Refunding Client for Any Monetary Amounts

  • No amounts paid for programmes or hotel nights that have not been executed by the client after the return date are refunded.
  • In the case of a refund, it will be within at least 21 (twenty-one) days from the cancellation request date.
  • If the client paid using electronic cards (Visa or Mastercard), the amount will be refunded back to the card within the timeframe determined by the bank.
The company reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions from time to time, whether by deletion or addition, and these conditions directly apply to (Memphis Tourism Company, Cairo Branch) as well as to all our services available on the internet through email or phone.
